To ensure that our breeding stock conforms to our standards and your expectations we participate in various tests, in particular AKC Hunt Tests and NAVHDA Tests along with input from our customers. Our dogs participate in AKC and NAVHDA hunt test events and are proven performers with undeniable results. In AKC hunt tests all have attained their Master Hunt Title before two years of age. When running in the NAVHDA Natural Ability tests, Prize 1 Titles were awarded. At Wild Flush Kennel we are committed to developing a line of easy training, highly driven bird dogs that can be raised with the family and perform in the field, blind or test grounds. Our goal is to improve the breed with each mating that we make. Trait selection, testing, customer feed back and hunting this line across North America are a good means of measurement. Our line hunts for us not for themselves.

For boarding your dogs during training a heated 40’ x 32’ kennel with indoor/outdoor runs was constructed in 2007 with the help of family and friends. Kuranda beds are also provided to ensure your dog a comfortable stay. A large fenced area for training and exercising the dogs is attached. We also have several pieces of private land available for training that include ponds for water retrieving and a great all around training environment.

At Wild Flush Kennel we train a limited number of dogs at a time to ensure your dog will reach its true potential and achieve its maximum ability. We will work with your dog and give it the same level of training as our own. When your dog is here at the kennel we will establish a foundation to succeed at whatever level you desire him or her to achieve. This provides you and your dog with quality training and a positive experience that will give you and your family years of enjoyment in the field and in the home.

We are also proud to be a part of the Aiming For A Cure Foundation. This Foundation, together with the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital, is committed to helping children and their families that suffer from various forms of cancer. Each March a Celebrity Hunt Event is held in which we donate our time and dogs to guide the celebrities and their teams in the field.
